About MyKira

Free Malaysian money calculators that show their sources, so you can trust the number and get on with your decision.

What MyKira does

MyKira works out the figures Malaysians actually need: take-home pay after EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SKBBK and PCB; loan instalments and the true cost of flat-rate loans; stamp duty, legal fees and RPGT on property; zakat; road tax; and everyday tools from BMI to splitting a bill.

Every calculator is free and works without an account. The site is funded by ads, which we keep away from the calculator itself.

Where the numbers come from

Statutory rates come from the official bodies that set them:

  • LHDN for income tax brackets, reliefs, rebates and PCB.
  • KWSP for EPF contribution rates.
  • PERKESO for SOCSO, EIS and SKBBK contributions.
  • Bank Negara Malaysia for rates and lending guidance.
  • JPJ for road tax, and state zakat authorities for nisab.

Rates are versioned by assessment year (currently YA 2026) and reviewed when a Budget or an authority announces a change. Each calculator page lists its sources and when its figures were last updated.

What we promise

  • Your inputs stay on your device. Calculations run in your browser; we don’t store what you type into a calculator.
  • Free to use. No subscriptions, premium tiers or paywalls.
  • Tested maths. The formula engines have automated tests checked against worked examples.
  • Guidance, not advice. Results are estimates. For decisions with legal or tax consequences, confirm with the authority or a licensed professional.
